There are many rainforest facts that people should know about and if people were educated about the rainforest, then maybe, they would help with stopping the problems with the rainforest depletion and deforestation. People should be aware of the speed the rainforests are disappearing the how many plants contain anti-cancer properties.

Did you know that the rainforest covers less than 2% of the Earth’s surface, but provides a home to over 50% of the world’s plants and animals? Rainforests are not only in the Amazons, they also are on every continent on Earth, with the exception of Antarctica.

The amount of living creatures and life in the rainforests is substantial and larger than any other part of the world.
